| I, seriously, could not have gotten this far without Nina Martinez. She's always been there for me, supporting me and helping me throughout my hobby. Not only has she been such a big help but she's also an amazingly talented artist. She mastered photoshop at the age of 12 and has been improving ever since, she's taught me everything I know in such a short span of time. She's an amazing, breathtaking artist who never disappoints. "I don’t understand why people say ‘no photoshop’ with such pride… or become heinous towards those who do use it. It’s a tool, like shutter speed or lens choice or aperture. I’d be more impressed if you used all the tools at your disposal. Everything distorts what is ‘true’ (ignore the possible ontological arguments), and it seems overly normative to claim that one distortion is acceptable and the other isn’t. Of course, like all tools, it’s not necessary to use it, however choosing not to use it doesn’t make you more photographically superior.
